As of right now , keyboard sequencing for the record is all but finished save for a few dynamic adjustments. The tracks will be due for mixing next month and will be mastered a short time after that. According to the band's record label, Aesperus Music, the full length LP of Selling Insincerity will not be released until early this winter. The label will however be releasing two shorter EP's consisting of the band's radio singles along with a few other tracks from Selling Insincerity and possibly some bonus materials.

Last month the band successfully recorded 11 of the 12 tracks for the album. The remaining track will be comprised of only keyboards and sampled sounds and was therefore cut from the studio time because of time constraints. All drums, bass, and guitar are completely finished. All that is left to the recording process are the vocals on one track and the keyboard/sampling parts for the record. As this is being written, keyboardist Brett Guillory is in the middle of recording his parts. As for the remaining vocals, part of the band is scheduled to be back in the studio sometime between March 18th and March 26th. Mixing is also scheduled to begin and possibly be done in this time as well.

As of January 4th 2006, Abigail's Ghost was in the studio recording their new album Selling Insincerity. The band was able to make great progress in the time afforded them but was unable to complete production of every track. Abigail's Ghost will focus on finishing the recording and visual design of the album over the course of the next two months and we may still be looking at a Spring 06 release depending on how it goes. Check out the Audiovisual Bliss section of the site for some cool photos and videos of the recording process.

After months and months of preparation, deliberation, and masturbation, Abigail's Ghost is officially scheduled to begin recording Selling Insincerity on January 4, 2006. The sessions are scheduled at Axistudio in Metairie, LA under the expertise of long time record engineer Misha Kachkachishvili. "The band has the studio for as long as they need it, period. What I can tell you is that it's going to be a full length record, twelve tracks at least and that it's going to blow everyone away, honestly." said band manager and spokesman Mike Hebert. We could be seeing a release as early as March 2006 if no unforeseen complications arise. More on this soon...
